The neighbourhood

Mistiq Temple I sits in a peaceful, developing area surrounded by jungle and away from the busy main roads. Although there aren't many restaurants, shops, or cafes around. You’re very close to both the beach and the hipster neighborhood of La Veleta. A quick ride takes you straight to the shoreline, beach clubs, and the hotel zone. It’s the perfect balance: a relaxing base where you can disconnect, with the beach and all the action just minutes away.

Me encanta hospedarme con Mistiq por que sus locaciones son hermosas. Pero esta vez tuve pedir información para hacer el check in y apesar de haber reservado para 3 personas las cosas estaban incompletas (Sabanas y toallas) Tuve que ir a comprar por que no me di cuenta hasta despues, lo bueno que se resolvio al siguiente dia.

El apto es hermoso tal cual las fotos. Y el complejo hermoso. Pero no hay señal, si necesitas hacer una llamada que no sea por wsp no hay forma. El complejo tampoco tiene un teléfono para comunicarse. El colchón de la cama está completamente vencido pasa hundido dormí muy mal!! . La cocina tiene muy pocos elementos para cocinar , poca vajilla, no hay ni un solo repasador, etc. el apto no tiene estacionamiento!!! Las ventanas no tienen mosquitero como para poder ventilar sin que entren animales ej: víboras. La zona es para entrar y salir adentro de un auto.

Had a great stay. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. As far as the unit, there were some geckos in the unit, however makes sense as you are in the middle of the jungle. I stayed here as a solo traveller and felt safe. The road leading to the building were not paved and not lit so it made using my scooter after sunset a bit scary. Apart from that, amenities were good. The main circular pool was not in operation however the rooftop pools were very clean. The gym in the hotel had everything you’d need to have a great workout. The restaurant didn’t have variety however, it was nice to have something in the hotel because there is nothing else to eat in that general area unless you drive about 7-10 mins out or order to the hotel.

Beautiful apartment and perfect for our needs located halfway between the town and beach. The negatives were that our host did not provide instructions until after we reached property so there was confusion as which block we were staying in, there are two Mystic complexes. The apartment could have better equipped, no tin opener for instance and no instructions for anything. Couldn’t get hob to work first night as not shown how to unlock controls. Finally they were breaking ground on next site so had jackhammer going one evening and following morning which was not exactly relaxing. On up side reasonably priced and perfect for two people.
